Disney Pin History

Disney originally introduced a series of pins to mark the new Millennium. When they discovered how intensely popular pin trading became, they decided to cash-in and have since produced tens of thousands of pins.

Disney Pins are traded at conventions, at the Walt Disney Resorts, on cruise ships, even on special Pin Trader cruises! The phenomenon has spread to include children and seniors. It is not uncommon to see some avid pin collectors with wheeled luggage for their collection while in the parks.
